We are not in US-America, were statements like the thread title are terms of common daily language, even in the media. In most other parts of the world (including the Chinese

They might be found in the private homes of few world class tuners that learn from each other, maybe also in the living room of the 17A chief devellopper (because he knows best the limits of his own concept that he had to tailor to the demands of economy and serial production - and might learn from tuners) and most certainly in some private setup of the biggest boss of the latter.

thank you very much of answering me! Of course, I knew people could get upset about it! That's was the goal of my meanings!!!

French people look arrogant, and I just laught at our own legendary primitive attitude...

Anyway, I invited some german people in private, well known on this website, telling them I had an astonished tweaked Cayin CDT-17A, no more. No even one of them dared to answer me! That's not open minded, is it? Belgium is not so far from Germany, is it? Perhaps, I should come to Germany, to prove german people I'm not so a fool...

But, one of you is very curious!!! Because he wants to know even if he is not convinced, that's a nice attitude...

Why are people cannot be convinced by upgrading the Cayin CDT-17A? Probably, because they think that engineers had made the best one when thinking it. So nothing to add. Actually, the scheme has been transformed by André Devillers, and without changing any component, it was astonishing!!! After changing the clock, changing the scheme and the components of the power parts, changing "bad" components by very good ones, it changed my life and my thought about great tweakers/optimizers like André...He has done it for all cogs of my listening machinery, and each time Bingo!
I wanted to share my experience, no less no more, but nobody's interested except one who is invited in Belgium in the next days....before I post this thread! Perhaps, he will share his experience with you?!

My CDP has been compared to 10000 euros CDP, and guess which one people -not me- in the store prefered..

don't forget to optimize the players feet ! The way I described it (Harmonix, Xindak), the improvement with my Xindak SCD-2 was more than marginal !!

But regardless of the fact, that I now could hear music with a digital source for hours without getting nervous, it still did sound kind of uninvolving to me
on both emotional and spiritual levels. But this is another story ... and of course very subjective.

That is the last thing I'm doing since Andre and Thibault have done everything in....I've just received soundscare feet for my CDP....
